Nokwethemba Mchono, otherwise also known as Nokwe-the-poet, is best known for her series of inspirational, trendy gospel poems published on Joyous Celebration from Joyous Celebration Volume 18 to Volume 21. Her journey to being South Africa’s leading poet began with her signature poem, “God is a Brand” (2014) which introduced her to the world.
